Amnesty International Volunteer-Internship Program 2021 in the Nepal section is available for interested applicants who wish to pursue further training in Human Rights Studies and experience firsthand training while working with the Global Human Rights organization.
This internship provides support and experience in: developing and implementing advocacy strategies and tactics, contact with governmental bodies and officials, conducting legislative research, writing and editing skills, managing databases, analyzing emerging areas of the relevant law and government policy, tracking the progress of legislation in Nepal , and learning about the international human rights framework.
Travel stipend will be provided. Minimum volunteer period will be for 3 months.
Eligibility:
- Pursuing undergraduate degree in a field relevant to Amnesty International’s campaign and Human Rights.
- Applicant must be at least 18 years of age.
- Applicant should be able to communicate well in English and Nepali.
