NEPAL – ILO Concerns on Trafficking of Migrant Workers for Forced Labour a Wake‐up Call for Government

Amnesty International Nepal issued a press release on 25 March 2013 highlighting need of better protection of Nepali migrant workers. The statement was issued highlighting major findings of the International Labour Organization’s Committee of Experts report published earlier this month which has called on those responsible to face just punishment. The ILO’s Committee of Expert published the report echoing Amnesty International’s recommendations in its 2011 report, False Promises.
