Amnesty International’s Annual Report 2015/16 Release

Amnesty International’s Annual Report 2014/15 was made public in Nepal amid a press meet on 24 February 2016. The report, launched globally on the same day, documents the state of human rights in 160 countries and territories in 2015.
Chairperson of AI Nepal Board Surya Bahadur Adhikari launched the report. Director Rameshwar Nepal made a presentation about the human rights concerns covered in the Annual Report and also briefed attendees about human rights situation in Nepal as documented by the report.
Victims and survivors of human rights abuse, media, representatives of human rights movement and AI members, attended the launch.
