The Human Rights Education Workshops that began from Letang concluded in Gaidakot, Nawalparasi on 3 June 2018. Thirty-four participants from the western region took part in the second phase of the two-day workshop. On the second day, the team conducted a class on human rights education to 150 children of Vijaya Samudayik Sikshya Sadan.
More than 60 participants who took part in the two phases of the Workshop are now assumed to be well-equipped to conduct human rights education classes to larger masses of the school level. As part of the ongoing drive, the workshop-participants cum trainers will visit different schools across the country and conduct classes on human rights to students there. The drive aims to impart knowledge on protection and promotion of human rights to 30,000 school children.
